Kaatsbaan Cultural Park
On 153 bucolic acres, Kaatsbaan is an artists’ sanctuary that offers audiences and artists an extraordinary environment for cultural innovation and excellence. Through biannual festivals, educational programs, residencies, and seasonal events in dance, music, film, spoken and written word, and culinary and visual arts, Kaatsbaan is a destination all its own.
ILOVIT Studio
Founded by lifelong Tivolian Patrick Lazarus, ilovit Studio is a gallery and boutique featuring local artists, musicians, artisan goods, and signature specialty tees. Situated in a small red barn, it’s right in the heart of the village but just slightly tucked away at 6 Montgomery Street. (Of course, the name is Tivoli spelled backwards.)
John Laub Artist (1947-2005)
Local Tivoli resident, Trish Tieger, manages the estate of her late brother John Laub - a celebrated artist, painter and sculptor whose work continues to live on. His prolific portfolio is now available to make part of your own collection. While many of his works are displayed in private homes, museums or other similar settings, there are numerous pieces for sale. Enjoy his wide range of works, categorized by locations he traveled to and loved.
The Listening Room
Enjoy intimate music sessions featuring emerging and established artists from the Hudson Valley and beyond. Originally introduced in New York City, the Listening Room now pops up in the area - presented by husband and wife team Deborah Lopez Lynch and Mick Lynch. Expect a unique live music experience in a welcoming setting.
Phyllis Palmer Art
Phyllis Palmer is a long-time Tivoli resident and celebrated artist whose works include study of human figures, frescos, sculpture, mosaics and public art. Her light-filled studio is open on select weekends throughout the year, or by appointment. Contact her for details.
Storyhorse Documentary Theater
Storyhorse is a documentary theater project whose stories are inspired by transcribed conversations with the people of our communities, historical documents and other primary sources. These stories focus on the social, political, environmental and medical issues we face and are brought to life by actors in multimedia staged readings.
Tangent Theatre Company
Tangent is one of the most respected professional theater companies in the Hudson Valley. Known for their intimate theater experiences, Tangent presents character-driven plays, new works and their popular pub readings at select locations in Tivoli and beyond. Hours vary based on productions; pub readings and special events are announced throughout the year.
Tivoli Artists Gallery
Tivoli Artists Gallery is an award-winning fine arts gallery representing an impressive 30+ Hudson Valley artists. Member work includes: painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics, illustration, digital art, printmaking and more. New exhibits monthly. TAG is a recipient of the Dutchess Tourism Arts Award of Distinction.
Tivoli Watermelon Factory
Samuel Merritt is a creator and arborist. whose charming watermelon creations are born from local fallen trees. Specially handcrafted in a variety of sizes, these unique and colorful pieces are available at Tivoli’s Available Items and the Tivoli Pop Up Studio; custom orders are always accepted. WXTI -Tivoli Community Radio Station
Tune in! WXTI-LP FM is a low-power radio station broadcasting locally to your radios at home, work, and in your car on 97.3FM in Tivoli. They also stream worldwide. Programming is supplied and presented by hosts that include local residents, employees and current Bard students, alumni, staff, and faculty.
